Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using Digest ("the app"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Digest is a mobile application that curates public tweets from accounts you follow on Twitter/X, ranked by engagement. The app delivers content in timed reading sessions to promote healthier social media habits.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Digest. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account

When you use Digest, an anonymous account is created for you. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account. You agree to provide accurate information (e.g., a valid public Twitter handle).

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Digest requires an active subscription to access digest content.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's services or servers.
• Use automated systems to access the app in a manner that exceeds reasonable use.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the app.

6. Content

Digest displays publicly available content from Twitter/X. We do not create, endorse, or take responsibility for any third-party content displayed in the app. All tweets remain the property of their respective authors and are subject to Twitter/X's terms of service.

7. Screen Time Integration

Digest offers optional Screen Time integration to block distracting apps on iOS. This feature uses Apple's Screen Time API and operates entirely on your device. We do not collect or transmit any Screen Time data.

8. Intellectual Property

The app, its design, code, and branding are owned by Digest and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always be available. Tweet availability depends on Twitter/X's public API and may change without notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or service interruptions.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it and canceling your subscription through the App Store.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles.
