Digest ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide our service:

• Account information: When you sign up, we create an anonymous account using Supabase Authentication. We do not require your name or email address.
• Twitter handle: You provide your public Twitter/X handle so we can fetch tweets from the accounts you follow. We do not access your Twitter password or private messages.
• Preferences: Your chosen digest frequency (1, 2, or 3 times per day) and timezone.
• Push notification token: If you enable notifications, we store your device's push token to send digest alerts.
• Subscription status: Managed entirely by RevenueCat and Apple. We do not store or process any payment information.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or physical address.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs.
• We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties.
• We do not read your Twitter direct messages or private content.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To fetch and curate public tweets from accounts you follow.
• To schedule and deliver your digests at the right time.
• To send push notifications when a digest is ready.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Authentication and profile storage. Privacy Policy
• SocialData API: To fetch public Twitter data. No personal data is shared beyond the public Twitter handle you provide.
• RevenueCat: Subscription management. RevenueCat processes transactions through Apple's App Store. Privacy Policy
• Apple Push Notification Service: To deliver notifications to your device.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your profile data is stored securely on Supabase servers. Digest content (tweets) is cached locally on your device using encrypted storage and is cleared regularly. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as you use the app. If you delete your account or uninstall the app, your profile data will be deleted from our servers. Cached content on your device is removed when you uninstall the app.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Modify your Twitter handle and preferences at any time within the app.

8. Children's Privacy

Digest is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or by updating the date at the top of this page.
